Slovenia entry requirements

Note: Slovenia is part of the Schengen Agreement

Schengen Agreement

Travelling within Europe has been simplified by the introduction of the Schengen Agreement which allows visitors from other Schengen countries to travel freely within the area using one visa.  The visa is applied for at the Embassy or Consulate of the Schengen country where you will spend the majority of your visit.  Therefore, if you intend to only visit Slovenia then you should apply to the Embassy of Slovenia (for Turkey: Ankara) or to Embassy of the Republic of Austria (for Jordan: Amman). However, if you plan to visit another country in the Schengen area for a longer period than the Conference, you will need to apply to the consulate of that country.

The Slovenia Foreign Office site may be of use when applying for your visa:

When applying for your visa you will require a letter of invitation to the conference, which will be provided by Zavod MEPI  – Mednarodno priznanje za mlade Slovenia. Please request this when completing your online Registration Form.

Action: Begin your visa application to ensure entry to Slovenia is approved in good time ahead of the Conference.
